Working with We Do Tennis, we are developing a brand-new education and mentorship pathway designed to take aspiring coaches from learners to job-ready professionals in the sports industry.

Through the Love Play Active Mentorship Programme, participants will complete a varied blend of online learning and practical development. The course provides a full picture of what it takes to work—and succeed—in modern sports coaching.

What the Programme Covers

• Business & Operations: Learn the fundamentals of running sports programmes, including marketing, finance, planning, and the day-to-day operations behind a coaching organisation.

• Leadership & Team Management: Develop the skills to manage and support a team of coaches, lead sessions effectively, and understand workforce development.

• High-Quality Coaching Practice: Gain hands-on experience, learning how to coach to a high standard across a range of sports. You’ll develop session planning, delivery confidence, safeguarding awareness, and behaviour management.

• Career Readiness: By the end of the programme, learners will be confident and fully prepared to begin delivering their own sessions—equipped with both technical coaching skills and the professional knowledge needed to thrive in the sports industry.
